NCE

"The National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka" or  "NCE" was incorporated in 1994 and is the successor to the National Exporters' Association, an initiative by a small group of Small and Medium exporters in Sri Lanka. At its incorporation the NCE was the sole Chamber for exporters and today it has grown to be the foremost Exporters' Chamber, covering 28 sectors. Annually the NCE organises what has come to be regarded as the Nation’s foremost Awards scheme and ceremony for exporters. It gives recognition to the SMEs and to  the Women entrepreneurs among others.

FCCISL

Formed in 1973, the FCCISL pioneered the establishment of regional chambers of commerce in Sri Lanka and now with around 30 of them, other chambers of commerce and business associations the FCCISL has over 50 members through which it networks to reach over 12,500 businesses in the large, medium, small and micro sectors.
In 2007 the FCCISL was voted the winner of the “Best Unconventional Project for SMEs” at the 5th World Chambers Congress held in Turkey, followed by being adjudged, in  2008,  the Best Social Marketing Project at the Brand Excellence Awards of the Asian Brand Congress held in Mumbai , India, for its “Business for Peace Initiative “(BPI). and won the international award for the Best CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Project again under BPI from the Asian CSR Forum in Singapore. The FCCISL was, in Sri Lanka the first Chamber to achieve SA 8000 International Social Accountability Standard and  the second Chamber to gain ISO 9000 international accreditation

 

SLMBC

The SRI LANKA MALAYSIA BUSINESS COUNCIL or SLMBC for short was formed in 1994 under the aegies of Sri Lanka's oldest Trade Chamber, the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce. The Ceylon Chamber has many Business Councils within it and SLMBC is easily the most vibrant and active among them. WOLDTREX is a member of the SLMBC and has an arrangement with the SLMBC to provide the opportunity for the SLMBC members to display their Products and services at any trade fair overseas which WORLDTREX or its sponsor, EXPOMAL INTERNATIONAL of Malaysia would organise overseas. MIFB is one such Fair. The SLMBCcounts a membership of over 155 members and had close links with the leading Chambers of Commerce and Trade in Malaysia. At MIFB, participating members of the SLMBC will be located in a Pavillion titled  " Sri Lanka Malaysia Business Council" Pavillion and this participationwil be coordinated by WORLDTREX who are the Exclusive representative in Sri Lanka for EXPOMAL.
